- Josie Donaldson Added November 30, 2017★ ★ ★ ★ ★The absolute best bakery I've ever visited. The most buttery, melt-in-your-mouth croissant I've had the pleasure of eating.
By 9am the place was absolutely packed with no where to park so we didn't bother eating in. Instead I went a little crazy and ordered whatever I could see.
Almond croissant - best pastry I've ever had, but was disappointed to find no almond paste inside.
Raspberry danish - unbelievably delicious. Happy I bought two. Little pieces of white chocolate speckled throughout.
Fig & pear loaf - potentially more dense than I would have preferred with not much of a sour taste, but a delectable loaf nonetheless. Perfect toasted with nothing but butter.
The prices are extremely reasonable given that they're a popular bakery and for the quality of the items.
The service was really good even though the staff were obviously swamped by the crowds.
A must-do if you visit Hobart.
