  A wonderful living experience in blue hills motel as the front desk service is pretty good, really polite and patient with my questions.
  
  And the location is quite convenient, it takes only 5-10 minutes then you can arrive in main sandy bay business area or just 2-3 minutes to the bus station and take the bus to city.
  
  As a tourist, I also enjoy the scenery around there, gorgeous looking.
  
  Thanks for giving me such an unforgettable travelling experience.

  Had a relaxing stay at the Blue Hills Motel, had a late check in which the staff organized and I much appreciated. The bed was a very comfortable and slept well with zero disturbance the whole stay. The shower had good water pressure and was better than mine at home. The fridge although small had deceptive storage space, it operated quietly and effectively. The views from the top balcony are million dollar, the location convenient to city with shops and banks close by. Although the décor is some what dated, it added to the character of this motel. I will stay again, as had an enjoyable stay

  Its budget accommodation so I'm not going to bash it for not having the most fantastic facilities or the fastest wifi or the cleanest rooms or the most modern appliances. The staff were great. We were treated with respect and kindness. The location is great as well. An easy walk into the centre of Hobart as long as a long steep hill doesn't exceed your fitness level. The room was adequate. It had a bed and a tv and soft pillows and was quiet and the signs made me laugh. I would definitely stay here again.

  The price is reasonable and relatively lower than other hotels with such a marvelous view. The receptionist is cute and patient all the time. I hope you enjoy your stay at this hotel as I do. P.s there is a lovely lobby located at the reception and it is good to take a rest there and chat with the receptionist boy.

  Best part of this motel is the view as you walk along the walkway to the room. The room was extremely dated and dusty, broken and loose tiles in bathroom, extraction fan in bathroom was caked in dust. Even the tv remote had a layer of dust on it. Sat on the bed and it rolled away from wall. Sink in bathroom had mould around edge. Didn't close curtains on the one window in the room in case a layer of dust fell on the bed and pillows. Small bathroom with no separation of the shower, toilet and sink...meaning no shower curtain or screen. No smoke alarm in the room.
  One bonus in room, big mirror. Carpeted stairs in foyer were worn, ripped and frayed. Couldn't wait to leave to be honest. Was a let down to a fantastic week's holiday around Tasmania.

  The motel is in a great position, perfect for exploring Hobart, and handy for breakfast at a local bakery that's mentioned in all the guides. The rooms are clean and comfortable with good mattresses, clean towels daily for the en suite shower. Each room has a kettle and some tea bags etc as well as a fridge. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. When we decided to eat 'at home' they lent us plates and cutlery. It was quiet and met all our needs.
  I have already recommended it to friends.
